As the weekend approaches, PSU vs. Ohio State game looms upon us. As a junior this year, this will be my last home game against Ohio State as a Penn State student. That, combined with not too cold weather, has me pretty excited for the game. One thing that I have found interesting about Penn State, and Penn State Greek life in particular, is that Greek life has gravitated away from going to football games and rather has begun participating in other activities. I find it interesting in that this culture shift seemingly occurred from my freshman year until now. As a freshman, a lot of seniors in my fraternity would go to football games paired with a sorority or just by themselves to enjoy the game. Nowadays, that has become much less of a tradition. Whether it be the lack of success we have had in recent years in our football program or just a general culture shift in general, there has been a lack of participation in that area.
Nevertheless, this school still has immense pride behind its football team and hopefully we can get a win this weekend! Go PSU!
