APDEM 000 – Review of Basic Statistics
Students are expected to have one undergraduate course in Statistics or work experience where statistics are used. A non-credit course (APDEM 000-Review of Basic Statistics) has been developed for our students to familiarize themselves with descriptive statistics, t-tests, correlations, and basic regression analysis. We will be using data from the American Community Survey (ACS), a data set used by Applied Demographers in their line of work.
Consult our course offerings page to plan your progress through our program. Elective course offerings are subject to change based on student enrollment.
