Abstract Format & Submission

Please submit an abstract if you are interested in presenting a podium presentation or poster at the conference. You must use the template provided below when preparing your abstractAbstracts that do not follow the format in the template may be rejected or require revision.

Abstracts may be two pages maximum and submitted only as a pdf file. If you are submitting an abstract to the national conference, your abstract submission to this regional conference may be the same or similar (but using our template). Check your pdf file for correctness before submission. Please name your pdf as “AuthorLastName_ShortTitle.pdf”, filling in the correct details. Only one author must submit the abstract. Upon successful submission, you will be redirected back to this site. You will also receive a confirmation email on Tuesday, March 13.

Accepted abstracts will appear on this website prior to the conference and available for some time after. You will retain the copyright on your abstract, but submitting it will give us permission to post. You may self-publish the abstract to sites such as ResearchGate.

Podium Presentation

The schedule and time limit for podium presentations will be determined closer to the conference date. You must bring your presentation on a USB drive in PowerPoint or PDF format. If you are using PowerPoint, also bring a PDF version of your presentation as an alternative if there were to be a compatibility issue. You may not use your own laptop for the presentation. Computers will have VLC installed to play common video types. It is recommended to bring the video files on the flash drive in addition to embedding them into your presentations.

Poster Presentation

Posters should not exceed 40″x30″. You may use our poster template
