Molly Smallcomb

Molly joined BASiL in 2017 as the first PhD student! She finished her degree in 2022 with a dissertation entitled, “Focused ultrasound therapy to treat tendinopathies.” Molly completed a MS degree on the way towards her PhD with her MS thesis entitled, “Focused ultrasound histotripsy of connective tissue: A tendon model”. Prior to joining Penn State, Molly received her B.S. in 2017 from the University of Hartford, CT, in Acoustical Engineering & Music with a vocal emphasis and math minor. In her free time, Molly enjoys playing lawn games, hanging with cats, and visiting her hometown in South Dakota. She is currently working as a consultant for Threshold Acoustics.
