Creating accessible content with the New Rich Content Editor in Canvas

Wednesday, February 24, 2021, 12:15 pm – 1:15 pm via Zoom, Presented by Dr. Daonian Liu

You must have noticed the brand-new look of the New Rich Content Editor in Canvas. In this session we will navigate all the tools in the New Rich Content Editor, which features a simplified toolbar and intuitively grouped sets of tool icons. This content editor makes it easier to type and format text, add images or links, embed media, attach files, etc. in a syllabus, announcements, assignments, discussions, pages, and quizzes.

This is a hands-on workshop. We will create a Canvas content page with text, links, images, videos, and a table following Penn State’s Accessibility Guidelines. Please make sure that you have a sandbox course for the workshop. A sandbox course is available for all Penn State faculty to play with for learning Canvas.
