Last RCL ! (yayayayayayayay)

Reflection On Self:

I will be the FIRST to admit that I slacked off excessively in this class. That’s no bueno, I know. However, when it came down to the important assignments, I put my best effort into it.  For the first speech we had to do, I thought my preparation was  perfect….until I received a lower grade than I had anticipated. This made me realize that high-school tactics didn’t work as well in college. By the time the next speech came around  I knew what to expect and how to prepare and was awarded with the grade I thought I deserved.  So overall, even though I know I didn’t do my best within the class, I know that I still haven’t done horribly bad.

Reflection On Course:

You know I was expecting the WORST for this class, what with it being honors and a bunch of things rolled into one course. However, it was one of my favorite classes.  The work load was not unbearable, not by a long shot. I didn’t have the old, stuffy, bitter, slave-working teacher I thought I might have (Craig you rock!), and I met some AMAZING people along the way.  This course gets 5 stars from me. 🙂

The Last of the Passions ~

Now since we are ending our semester and our class, i’d like to do that with an appropriate quote (as you know, my passion blog is a collection of quotes and my reflections on them).

“Now this is not the end. It is not even the beginning of the end. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning.” -Winston Churchill

This quote applies to a few different areas to me. For one…this is not the end of our class. I got a bit emotional thinking about how much I enjoy our class mainly because of the people that make it up. You all are amazing and it was a pleasure serving time with you. (yes, that’s a prison pun. Just let me have my corny fun Lol). We will all see each other again and the laughs will continue. It is not the end 🙂

As for the class, i’m pretty sure i enjoyed it the most  out of all of my classes. The only thing I disliked was the homework assignments which were very veryy LONGGGG. But, that’s it. Thank God for the end of those!

I also think this quote pertains to our current stage in life. The only thing we’re ending is our semester. We’ve got the REST OF OUR LIVES ahead of us! To many of us, this is only the beginning. So make it count, and do it right!
