LinguaFolio Online

LinguaFolio Online is an ePortfolio evaluation tool that allows students to collect evidence demonstrating their communicative abilities in a world language. With the help of the tool, students can upload evidence of their proficiency according to the NCSSFL-ACTFL Can-Do Statements (see below).

The Center for Applied Second Language Studies (CASLS) at the University of Oregon designed LinguaFolio Online in partnership with the National Council of State Supervisors for Languages based on LinguaFolio®, which is derived from the European Language Portfolio. Schools and teachers who want to use the tool, need to purchase an annual subscription, which costs $2 per students. Find more information about the tool at LinguaFolio Online Network.

Note: The NCSSFL_ACTFL Can-Do Statements and LinguaFolio® Self-Assessment Statements. Find the checklist here. This document is the culmination of a collaborative effort between NCSSFL and ACTFL to combine two documents into one cohesive set of can-do statements: those of NCSSFL’s LinguaFolio® and those of the 2012 ACTFL Proficiency Guidelines.
