If you’ve been watching the spoken word scene over the past decade, chances are good you’ve seen Lady Caress—and now you can see her live (and for free) at Penn State DuBois!

Poet and public speaker, Lady Caress is a National Poetry Champion who has also coached college students in performance pieces both poetry and prose. Her work mashes poetry with comedy, beatboxing, and storytelling, and she’s been featured on Verses and Flow and the BET 365 Black Awards. For a taste of her sound, watch her performance reel on Vimeo.
