We are currently looking for adults with a learning disability involving reading, writing, speaking, or listening. Are you currently receiving academic accommodations because you have some difficulties with reading, writing, speaking, or listening? Or have you received services for such difficulties in the past? For example, maybe you had speech therapy when you were in elementary school, or received extra help from a specialized reading teacher.  If this sounds like you, we would like to hear from you. The study we’re doing right now works like this. We’re studying the electrical activity of the brain in response to hearing sounds. A cap will be placed on your head that allows us to record this electrical activity. The procedure is safe and painless, and you can play computer games while the cap is adjusted. You will then listen to some sounds and respond to certain ones, and also do a couple of brief memory and reading tests. We’ll do the whole thing in one session of about 2 hours. Watch the video below to get a closer look on the process!
