Dr. Kathleen Keller – Norman Kretchmar Memorial Award recipient

COPT students are fortunate to receive guidance and mentoring from an esteemed group of professors. Throughout their careers, the COPT leadership have received a number of prestigious awards for their professional achievements. Most recently, the American Society for Nutrition (ASN) named one of our co-program directors, Dr. Kathleen Keller, the recipient of the 2014 Norman Kretchmer Memorial Award in Nutrition and Development. According to the ASN, this annual prize commends a young investigator for conducting a substantial body of independent research in nutrition and development that could be applied to the improving children’s health. Keller’s work reflects the rigorous, transdisiplinary science that COPT fellows hope to pursue in their own careers.
