In Fall 2016, Alissa Smethers (Nutrition) and Allison Doub Hepworth (Human Development and Family Studies) received college-level awards from the College of Health and Human Development.
Alissa Smethers received the Grace M. Henderson Graduate Scholarship for exemplifying the qualities of a scholar, showing professional promise, and having dedicated interest in human service.
Allison Doub Hepworth received the Ruth W. Ayres-Givens Scholarship for demonstrating the desire and insight to make a contribution to society and engage in work that fosters interdisciplinary connections and use skills for the benefit of the public and in developing innovative ideas.
