About us

Our club team’s home is Pegula Ice Arena. In partnership with the Nittany Recreational Curling League, our players compete in intramural Penn State matches weekly. We also rent our own ice time for dedicated practice sessions.

Open to all PSU students

Penn State Club Curling is an officially recognized club sport, meaning all students of Penn State University Park are welcome to join our team.

FAQs

Do I need prior curling experience?

Absolutely not! Very few of us have curled before joining the club. We will teach you quickly and get you on the road in no time.

Do I need to buy equipment?

We have our own club equipment, but encourage interested players to purchase their own gear once they get a hang for the sport.

How often do you travel and play games?

We attend weekend-long college bonspiels usually once or twice a month once the season ramps up in October. We also compete in one-on-one team match plays that are usually day trips.
