Current Position: Assistant Professor of Sociology, Dartmouth College (Hanover, NH)
Brief Bio: I am a sociologist and demographer interested in
1) the social determinants of mental health and well-being across the life course; and 2) understanding how socioeconomic inequalities are reproduced across and within generations.
In my current work, I ask how rising debt and the foreclosure crisis are linked to levels of and disparities in population health and wellbeing. I’m also interested in how debt is implicated in the process of status attainment of social mobility.
