Internet Reference Services Quarterly: peer reviewers on the Editorial Board of IRSQ

Editorial responsibilities:

Critique the presentation, style, and quality of manuscripts

Provide candid and respectful comments

Encourage at least two author(s) to submit papers each year to the Journal

Serve as a generalist and review all topics within the scope of IRSQ

 

Administrative responsibilities:

Provide a quick turn-around for reviews, usually 3 weeks

Review at least one manuscript per year.  Some board members review two or three.

Be responsive in email correspondence

Serve for three years

InSITE:  Connect consists of study in various locations on the transmission of information across time and across space.  Connect focuses on the interrelationship between context (historical forces and culture) and information and knowledge transfer. 

InSITE: Inform solicits papers in any area that explores issues in effectively and efficiently informing clients through IT (information technology).

InSITE:  TeachIT focuses on research topics related to teaching  IT, including curricular issues, capstone courses, pedagogy, and emerging topics in IT. 

InSITE:  TeLE focuses on research topics related to using IT to teach.  For example, these topics include e-Learning, m-Learning, making classroom teaching more effective, and distance learning.

Introducing ‘Scientific Research & Essays (SRE)’

Call for papers/Reviewers

Scientific Research and Essays (SRE) publishes high-quality articles in English, in all areas of science, medicine, agriculture and engineering. All papers published by SRE are peer reviewed. SRE is a very rapid response journal with an issue published every month.  All articles published in SRE are peer-reviewed. The following types of papers are considered for publication:

 

         Original articles in basic and applied research.

         Critical reviews, surveys, opinions, commentaries and essays.

 

Our objective is to inform authors of the decision on their manuscript(s) within four weeks of submission. Following acceptance, a paper will normally be published in the next issue.

The Journal of Business & Finance Librarianship is an innovative quarterly journal that provides you with useful articles about the creation, organization, dissemination, retrieval, and use of business information. This refereed journal covers the business information needs of special libraries, academic libraries, and public libraries, as well as information services and centers outside of the traditional library setting. You’ll find that the journal is international in scope, reflecting the multinational and international scope of the business community today.
