What’s Blooming – April 2005

Hello all,
Finally, we have flowers on the trail! Check out pictures and descriptions on the web at:

http://www.personal.psu.edu/dys100/whatsblooming/earlyApril.htm

To find the entrance to the trail, walk past the gym and continue back between the gym and the soccer field. You should be able to see the entrance sign at that point. The trail is about 1/2 mile in length – so if you walk there, do the loop and walk back you can estimate you have covered a mile during your lunch hour!

If you would like to take a trail map and pictures and descriptions of what’s blooming with you on your walk, stop by Tracie Brockhoff’s office (007 Science) and borrow a laminated copy.

If you would like more ideas for walks on campus, contact Elaine Zarichnak (emz3) or Ron Nichols (rhn2) – they have created maps of walking paths on the campus which show different paths, their distance and degree of difficulty (some are indoors).

Enjoy, and if you have questions, don’t hesitate to contact me (I’ll be on the trail!),

Deborah
