John is currently exploring Virtual Reality as an educational tool and design tool for Additive Manufacturing. He feels that Virtual Reality will be a useful resource in the future for exposing students to more advanced, less accessible technologies at a low cost. He is also conducting research in metal Additive Manufacturing which explores the effect of altering machine parameters on product design.
