Welcome to the information pages for our upcoming event, Helping Students Become Effective Lifelong Learners!

Using the Effective Lifelong Learning Inventory (ELLI), a 74-item online questionnaire developed by Ruth Deakin Crick, Patricia Broadfoot, and Guy Claxton of the University of Bristol (2004), participants will spend two days learning about themselves as learners as well as ways to coach students to grow in their own learning power. See a brief 6 minute video of Dr. Ruth Deakin Crick describing the inventory and its purpose http://www.carnegiefoundation.org/carnegieviews/innovation-education/ruth-deakin-crick-introducing-elli

Every day you  may make progress… Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path.  You know you will never get to the end of the journey.  But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and the glory of the climb.
