LGBTQA Center SAFE ZONE/SAFER SPACES Training ModuleS
Any member of the university community can take this 2-hour training to get educated about issues affecting lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer students and colleagues. Training includes strategies for being inclusive/non-offensive and other resources for teaching and information. The LGBTQA center also offers additional modules on issues affecting transgender students and LGBTQA students of color. Upon completing the training, participants receive a SAFE ZONE sticker for their office door to indicate that they are sensitized and accepting of LGBTQA students and colleagues.
