On Wednesday, Oct. 20 at 5 pm in Room E306, Career Services will host a live Webinar presented by OurPublicService.org to showcase how to best use the federal jobs websites: www.usajobs.gov and www.studentjobs.gov to find federal internships for Summer 2011.
A similar session will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 26 at 5 pm in E308, but focusing on finding and applying for full-time positions with the federal government.
These workshops will be broadcast live to enable students to become more familiar with the newly revamped websites and to demystify the federal application process. A number of exciting positions across government will be highlighted, and the webinars will show how to research , find and apply for these positions.
Don’t miss this opportunity to access public service positions, some of which have early application deadlines for their summer internships. Attending students will receive copies of the PowerPoint slides to make it easy to follow along, and follow through.
