January 2017 “Road Trips to the RealWorld” Employer Site Visits
Registration deadline Dec. 9, 2016
We are pleased to present this year’s “Road Trips to the Real World” program – a series of employer site visits for students during the winter break from Jan. 4-13, 2017.
Learn first hand about a career field, network with employees, and explore internship and job opportunities. At each site you will get an in depth look at how the business operates and see first hand the potential jobs that are out there. You will get the chance to network and get a head start on your career choice. This is an opportunity you do not want to miss!
These site visits will give students the opportunity to explore career paths and gain insight regarding the hiring process with over 30 employers across the Northeast region, including the New England Aquarium in Boston; UPMC in Pittsburgh, Vanguard in Malvern, PA; The Madison Square Garden Company, HBO and Warner Music Group in New York City; Aspire Ventures in Lancaster, PA; The entire list of participating companies from Boston to Washington D.C. can be found at: http://www.eace.org/?page=RoadTripsRealWorld
Site visits may include panel discussions of employees and/or interns, site tours, or networking sessions. The programs cost $10.00 per site. Students must provide their own transportation to and from the site, and they are responsible for any incidental expense they may incur.
Deadline to register is Dec. 9.To learn more about the Road Trips program or to register, click here.
