Healthier twist on a burger perfect for tailgating

Ingredients:
- 1 pound ground chicken breast
- 1 Tbsp black pepper
- 1 Tbsp garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp balsamic vinegar
- ½ c onion, minced
- 1 jalapeno or poblano pepper, minced
- 1 Tbsp fennel seed, crushed
- Small whole wheat buns, lettuce leaves, sliced tomato & avocado for topping
Directions:
- Mix first seven ingredients together and let set for 1 hour.
- Form into 2 ounce patties.
- Grill or broil in the oven until internal temperature reaches at least 165 F.
- Serve on small whole wheat buns with lettuce, tomato and avocado as desired.
