The Rodney A. Erickson Discovery Grant Program supports undergraduate student engagement in original research, scholarship, and creative work under the direct supervision of a faculty member.
Approximately 60 Erickson Discovery Grants, each in the amount of $3,500, are available through the Office of Undergraduate Education for summer 2017

Health and Human Development Summer Research Grants: The College of Health and Human Development will be offering funds for undergraduates to complete research under the direction of a faculty mentor for summer 2017. Funds may be used for student expenses and project costs.

HHD Engaged Scholar Events are a set of out of class experiences that connect students and faculty on HHD related themes. Students planning on attending events as part of the HHD Engaged Scholars should RSVP to Health Zimmerman by calling 865-1427 at least 24 hours prior to the event.
The next engaged scholar event is February 22 from 4-5pm, the speaker is Adam Gamoran, Ph.D., President, W. T. Grant Foundation.

We are gearing up for Festival of Trees, and we still have a few openings for volunteers to help during the weekend.
We are in need of the following: Saturday, Dec 10th Admission Collection – 1:00-3:00pm – need 1, 3:00-5:00pm – need 2, 6:30-8:00pm – need 1.
Sunday, Dec 11th Admission Collection – need 4 each shift – 11:45-2:00pm & 2:00-4:00pm.
Door Greeter/Counter – need 1 each shift – 1:45-2:00pm, 2:00-4:00pm.
Sunday, Dec 12th Undecorating Party!
We have 30 trees to undecorate, 4:00-6:00pm. f you can help, please let me know asap!

Come on out with the Music Service Club to perform a holiday “concert” at the Bennett Family Center here on campus!
We will be meeting outside the front of the center by 5:10 and will begin performing around 5:30. We will be providing background music for the center’s holiday party, with children and their families present.
