Welcome back to Hungry Lions!
Can you believe that were already almost to spring break! I know that we have a while to go, but this semester is flying by!
That being said, it is time for another passion blog entry. This week I want to talk about the restaurant Noodles and Company.
This restaurant serves many different kinds of pasta dishes. One of my favorites, though probably not the healthiest, is their Wisconsin Mac and Cheese. I can confidently say that this is probably the best mac and cheese on campus, or at least is my favorite. However, they have plenty of other selections too. Here is a link to them menu, which I highly recommend checking out! https://order.noodles.com/menu/noodles-state-college
While the prices may seem high on paper, like $5.75 for a bowl of mac and cheese, they are actually not bad for the amount of food you get. The portion sizes at Noodles and Company are huge! Depending on how hungry you are, one bowl may be able to last you for at least two meals, if not more!
Noodles and Company is located at 244 W College Ave. This means that it is at the end of campus, near the Target. For people living at West, the walk is not far, but for those like me who live at Pollock, the walk can take about 10 minutes. If you really aren’t up for that walk, there is a bus stop that is pretty close to that location.
Noodles and Company definitely accommodates large groups of people. They have a couple of booths, and many large tables. Last semester I even went there to work on a group project, and we definitely were not lacking space or seating.
That’s another great thing about this restaurant. It’s not always super crowded, and is a great place to sit down and study. I have never seen someone kicked out of there for using one of their tables to study.
I hope you check out Noodles and Company soon!
