Pooja Bhole

Pooja is a M.S (Non-Thesis) student in the Industrial and Manufacturing Department at Penn State. Her fields of interest are supply chain engineering, process improvement and analytics, with a special focus in the field of healthcare. She will soon start working as a Process Improvement Intern at Quest Diagnostics, Pittsburgh with majority of her work being focused on work layout labeling, auditing and optimization conforming to specific quality standards using Six Sigma techniques and lean principles. In the future, she hopes to continue working in the domain of process improvement with a non-thesis paper based on research in a similar area. Post her M.S, she hopes to work in an industry setting as a Quality Engineer.

Pooja earned her Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering from Mumbai, India in 2016. During the last few summers, she has interned in manufacturing and healthcare industries in the fields of operations and process improvement.

She is extremely fond of outdoor activities and loves long walks and treks. Pooja also loves working for social causes and is an ardent animal-lover.
