Locked In

Locked In is a 3-dimensional variant of your run of the mill ‘Escape the Room’ game mixed with a maze-like environment, and as such, it is a step above the rest in terms of level of engagement, immersion, and challenge. Through a combination of level/obstacle navigation, and an ever-dwindling timer, Locked In engages the player more than any other game of the same genre. It forces them to act quickly under pressure and tests their decisiveness in a timed environment.

You begin as a person who is in constant need of a hug, as seen by his outstretched arms below.

You then travel through the increasingly difficult levels to find the key and the door as the timer runs toward zero. If the timer reaches zero, you must re-complete the previous level before retrying the level that they failed.

The 5 levels of the game were designed to thoroughly confuse players and hopefully send them in circles, as seen in the level prototype below.
