Who are the ITS subunit Process Liaisons?
Role
• Provides a single point of contact for one or more IT Service Management process(s).
• Represent ITS interests with Service Management teams.
• Provide the authority or ability to make changes in the process as required, and manage process(es) end-to-end so as to ensure optimal overall performance.
• Create a new environment by displaying a motivational impatience for results (be a behavior change leader).
• Ensure alignment of the process to the IT strategy.
• Provides information to unit (ITS) process manager as needed.
• Responsible for information exchange with other sub-unit process liaisons.
• Communicate the organizational vision and the process’s strategic goals to subunit.
• Communicate with and manage the expectations of customers of IT Services
• Identify and assimilate similar and/or overlapping activities/initiatives within subunit.
• Publicize activities and build commitment and consensus around Process Management activities
• Responsible for sub-unit workflow, compliance and information exchange.
• Provide process ownership through design, implementation and continuous improvement activities in the process life cycle.
• Work with all functions within the subunit to ensure processes are executed as designed and measured accurately and completely
• Facilitate resolution of interface problems with other process owners
• Time commitment is dependent upon need and vary from process to process and from area to area.
