Guidelines:
Changes of staff listings within an existing assignment group:
- Assignment group managers will have a direct-edit function to adjust staff names within their pre-existing groups.
- Lead time: immediate

Additions or removals of assignment groups, or editing an assignment group name:
- The assignment group manager should submit a request to the Service Management Office by visiting smo.psu.edu and clicking Submit a Request.
- Lead time: 1-10 days
For major changes of a subunit’s service catalog or assignment group listings:
- The process liaison for the subunit should request a current-state spreadsheet and coordinate a change-freeze with their assignment group managers.
- The assignment group manager should submit a request to the Service Management Office by visiting smo.psu.edu and clicking Submit a Request.
- Lead time to receive download: 24-48 hours
- Lead time for upload of adjusted spreadsheet: 1-10 days, per change process.
