The ITS transformation to the Service Management Program was completed on June 30th, 2016. Current program information is now on the Service Management Office website.
Please refer to http://smo.psu.edu for information and questions.
Training
- Training is provided during the implementation phase of each process. The ITS Process Managers and subunit process liaisons will identify and coordinate training for each subunit. Individuals will be invited to participate in the tool and process training for any processes which their managers have identified as being part of their day-to-day work. This is being done so that everyone can receive the specific training they need in the most timely and efficient manner.
- After implementation, supervisors or managers who need to get new employees access to ServiceNow and / or training should go to the “Submit a Request” link on the Service Management Office website to request the appropriate access or training. A process manager will work directly with the new employee on training, verifying with the SMO once this training is complete. Once verified, the SMO will grant the employee access to begin using ServiceNow and the appropriate processes.
Training Resources
- The Service Management Office maintains the current training opportunities, documentation, and resources. Please visit the Service Management Office training page for more information.
