Penn State Altoona hosted the first-ever Varsity Athlete Alumni Weekend October 28–29, 2017. Former team members returned to campus and had the opportunity to meet coaches, Intercollegiate Athletics department staff members, faculty, and student athletes. The inaugural reunion featured numerous activities, including tours of the renovated and expanded Steven A. Adler Athletic Complex, an Intercollegiate Athletics panel discussion, and a viewing party for the Penn State vs. Ohio State game.
