I’m a PhD student advised by Dr. Anand Sivasubramaniam at the Department of Computer Science, Pennsylvania State University. My research interests span the areas of computer systems, energy storage, data mining, and computational sustainability.
I collaborate with Dr. Hosam Fathy from the School of Mechanical and Nuclear Engineering at Penn State on the energy storage work.
During the summers of 2014, 2015 and 2017, I interned at Microsoft Research, Redmond. I had the opportunity to work with Anirudh Badam, Laura Caulfield, Sriram Govindan, Myeongjae Jeon, Aman Kansal, Bikash Sharma, and Di Wang.
Before joining Penn State, I was a Researcher under the guidance of Dr. Arunchandar Vasan and Dr. Venkatesh Sarangan at TCS Innovation Labs – Chennai. We explored the opportunities and challenges in smartening water supply networks using principles from computer science domain.
Our work titled, “SSD Failures in Datacenters: What? When? and Why?” won Best Student Paper Award at Systor 2016!
