Bob Hart

Bob Hart, born and raised in the New York City area, was a fixture in the jazz and rock scenes before relocating to State College three years ago. He studied bass and guitar at the Berklee College of Music and Rutgers University, under the tutelage of jazz giants Kenny Barron, Ted Dunbar, and Mike Richmond. Most recently, he has been touring and recording with singer Kat Edmonson (Sony Masterworks), and has been active in a wide variety of genres, playing with artists as diverse as Debbie Harry (Blondie), the legendary writer/arranger Van Dyke Parks, and the indie chamber-pop band Clare and the Reasons.
