3rd Eye | A Photo Safari

3rd Eye is my documentation and discussion of a photo safari that I will be embarking upon this semester. I know it sounds pretty exotic – and hopefully it will look that way, too! – but I plan to keep it simple. All of the photos on my safari will be taken on campus or at least in the immediate area, but will not be the kind that would end up in a brochure. The point of this photo safari is to find art in ordinary things (the definition of ‘found art’) that we all walk past on our way to class every day. I’ll try to come up with a theme for each week, but my main idea is really to point out the weird, funny, cool, and beautiful images that are hiding in ‘real life.’ I am always open to suggestions and am always looking for new subjects or themes to photograph.
