PhD Mathematics, George Mason University, 2009
I am interested in the development and application of mathematical methods to problems arising in the area of fluid dynamics. The methods I use to solve these problems are perturbation and asymptotic methods and numerical techniques. I am also interested in studying the applications of fluids in biological systems and industrial phenomena. I have also worked on mathematical modeling of microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and nanoelectromechanical systems (NEMS)
Currently, I am working on mathematical modeling of the dynamics of the tear film on the ocular surface.
