As of October 13, 2017 The Center for Fitness and Wellness is located in the Wellness Suite, Room 020 Intramural Building. The Center is no longer in 131 White Building.
The Center for Fitness and Wellness provides health and fitness assessment and education for students, faculty, and staff at Penn State. The Center also provides instructional support for select activity-based courses offered by the Department of Kinesiology. Students enrolled in KINES 061, KINES 065, KINES 067, KINES 072, KINES 084, KINES 093 (cycling), and KINES 201 obtain fitness testing as part of the requirements for the course. Additionally, The Center offers an avenue by which upper level Kinesiology majors may gain clinical experience in fitness testing for future careers in sports medicine.
Future plans are to offer a variety of wellness and fitness testing opportunities to the general Penn State student population. For more information, please stop by the Center in Room 020 Intramural Building (The Wellness Suite), call 814-865-4488, or email Zack Papalia at firstname.lastname@example.org.
