We have worked extremely hard to make the audit as helpful and accurate as possible. But just as with many new tools, validation and ongoing use finds issues that need attention. All UGRD colleges were asked to review audits for their majors and minors, and communicated with the LionPATH advising team and/or the assigned OUR representative for that college. While we were able to correct most issues that were brought to our attention, there are some known issues that are still being addressed by Project LionPATH, the Office of the University Registrar, and/or college faculty and staff.
As many prior course substitutions as possible were converted technologically. With the move to a new system, unfortunately, colleges are bearing the brunt of having to review and reapply, where applicable, substitutions and exceptions. Because of this, if you see an error in how an audit is using/not using a student’s course, check to see if there needs to be an exception first. If so, please work through your college channels for exception entry. If not, please follow the protocol listed in the top box of all undergraduate audits for reporting issues so they can be addressed.
Some audits are showing the wrong instructor names in the “Penn State Courses” listing at the bottom of the audit. We are working with the technical team to address this.
Some audits are showing the wrong status in the “Transfer Credit” listing at the bottom of the audit. We are working with the technical team to address this. (Note: Transfer credits need a Model Status (visible on the “transfer credit” tab in Advisor Center) of “Posted” in order to be fully on the student’s record and potentially used to meet degree requirements in a degree audit.)
