I just took a look at Penn State’s volunteer calendar (volunteer.psu.edu) and was very impressed to see over 30 events posted already for April! And, of course, those events are just the ones that the Council’s service groups have opened up to all students. There are many more planned events not publicly posted that will be focused just on members of the individual service groups within the Council of LionHearts.
Through outstanding service leadership, the student leaders who comprise the Council of LionHearts are providing a greater variety of opportunities for all Penn State students who have an interest in volunteer service. Congratulations, Council leaders, for your much appreciated work and leadership. Your efforts are enriching the campus life experience of your fellow students.
