Spring UP Day of Service 2011 was on Sunday, April 17th from 8:00 am to 1:30 pm. The event went really well, with about 50 volunteers and three service sites. OPP brought most of the volunteers to the Bahr Recycling Center, where we planted trees, cleared brush and planted flowers. The rest of the volunteers were split between planting and outdoor work at the Boogersburg School House and Centre Furnace Mansion Historical sites. It was a beautifully sunny day, and it was really cool to see how nicely the sites turned out after our hard work!
