Volunteer Links from 9/4/2011 – 9/11/2011

Hey Council and other readers of this blog, I’m implementing a new aspect to the Council of LionHearts Blog this semester that will include links to articles that I find interesting in regards to topics we’ve talked about or are going to talk about or even just of general interest. To start off this first blog post, I am going to focus on the career aspects of volunteering since the career fair is next week! Volunteerism has gained notoriety among employers by equating it to paid work positions in that field and by gaining insurmountable experience. Other websites like LinkedIn have now even started to create dedicated sections for volunteer experiences. Take a look at the links below!
