In order to address the urgent relief efforts in response to the recent disaster of Hurricane Sandy on the East Coast, Council of LionHearts stepped up as the continuous service leaders at Penn State and held tabling for American Red Cross Donations all of last week.
Thanks to their mobilization efforts and the care of the PSU community, $235.90 was donated to the American Red Cross of Greater New York where there was the most demonstrated need. Our thoughts are still with those families and individuals in hardship due to the storm and we hope these donations can help in this time of need.
