In our last Council meeting, students were also prompted to brainstorm how to create a sustainable organization (first in small groups, then as a large group). Then, the top three ideas from Council were chosen (bolded below):
1. sitting down with old and new members to make a game plan and schedule a plan for the following year
a. plan for next fall and spring
2. grooming underclassmen to take over
a. connecting to them, reaching out to them
3. plan recruiting events now
4. picking a good adviser
5. Keep history: information/records:�digitize
a. contact info and update it
b. chronicling all events
c. keeping track of all photos
d. alumni contact list
e. project leader e-mails (save them)
f. treasurer records
g. mtg minutes
h. project files
i. newspaper clippings
j. =set up an account on ANGEL
k. permanent archive in library
