2023/2024 Executive Board
President: Olivia Adams
Major: Earth Science
Minor: Marine Science
Hometown: East Lyme, CT
– “After seeing a coral reef for the first time with my own eyes in high school, I knew I wanted to be apart of the restoration and conservation effort. I am currently working on an undergraduate research project studying the affects the structure of coral reef communities has on biodiversity through time. I hope to pursue a career studying coral reef systems from the geoscience perspective.”
Vice President: Andy Hess
Major: Biology
Minor: Marine Science and German
Hometown: Hershey, PA
– “I remember being younger than five and mesmerized by the ocean documentaries my parents would put on for me. I’ve since remained enchanted by our oceans and recognize the importance of other creatures that greatly impact our seas in small ways; as a result, I’ve been working in the entomology labs and soon hope to dive into the marine science labs as well.”
Treasurer: Evan Katucki
Major: Psychology and Biomedical Engineering
Hometown: North Wales, PA
– “I love public speaking, education, and meeting new people! I worked at my local zoo for several years before moving to State College, and on the side got scuba certified (I’d love to do more diving in the future!). I’m enthusiastic about learning more, and getting out and about to do things such as waterway cleanups or some kayaking.”
