Hi there,
I am Manmeet Singh Dayal from culturally rich and diverse country of India, pursuing Masters degree in Agricultural and Biological Engineering department at Pennsylvania State University. As an engineering student in undergrad with majors in Biotechnology,at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology, I have gained insights on various aspects on technological applications of biological system During my stint at my college I have developed my skills. The undergraduate curriculum has allowed me to explore diverse fields and the coursework was supplemented through conferences, workshops, seminars and project assignments. I completed two semester long projects titled ‘Intranasal Drug Delivery’ and ‘Amino AcidTransporters’. The senior year was dedicated .to an year long project aimed at ‘Production of Bacterial Cellulose through Acetobacter sp. that encompassed concepts of microbiology, process
engineering, fermentation and animal tissue culture.
While pursuing my under graduation, biological engineering had completely captured my imagination and I decided to pursue my higher studies in it, and thus joined Penn State. Presently I am working on biomedical applications of bacterial cellulose.
I also took an active interest in activities outside the sphere of academics. I have a profound inclination for arts, travelling and dancing.
