It happens to all of us. You’re working at your desk using a software program. Word, Photoshop, a web-based service … and you remember that you need to send an email. You click on the Outlook icon in your taskbar and click it. Outlook opens to the Calendar, so you click the envelope to return to Mail. Then, you can finally click “New Email.”
You can save yourself a lot of extra steps by taking advantage of Outlook’s features that are available even when you can’t see its window. Simply right-click on the Outlook icon to access the ability to create a new email message, appointment, meeting, contact, or task. The video below shows what this Outlook Tasks menu looks like.
