What are Of The Month (OTMs) Awards ?
Recognition is one of the two pillars that NRHH embodies. One way NRHH recognizes members of the Penn State community is through Of The Month Awards, also known as OTMs. The purpose of the OTM is to recognize someone that has gone above and beyond to strengthen the on-campus residence life community. This can be evidenced in a variety of ways such as (but not limited to) leadership, unity, and good character. There are many different categories within the OTM making it possible for residents, Resident Assistants, Residence Life Staff, Housing Staff, and affiliates to be eligible to be nominated for an award. Nominate someone today!
Who can write OTMs?
OTMs can be written by anyone who is a member of the on-campus residence life community and who has created an account through the OTMs website. This includes residents, Resident Assistants, Residence Life Staff, Housing Staff, etc.
Where can I nominate someone?
Submitting an OTM is easier than an sending an email! As noted above, you do not need to be a member of NRHH to nominate anyone and you are welcome to self-nominate.
To submit an OTM:
- Visit https://otms.nrhh.org
- Submissions this year require that you create an account first. This can be done in the top right corner. Make sure to register under Pennsylvania State University. (This is quick and easy!)
- On the left side of the website you will see “Nominations”. Under Submit, select whichever link describes what you are submitting (General and/or Programming).
- Make sure to fill in the prompts accordingly. Submissions do not need to be lengthy, but the more information the better.
Please Note: OTMs are DUE by 11:59 PM on the LAST day of the month (e.g. OTMs for March are due by 11:59 PM on March 31st, etc.)
