In October 2014 it was installed the Bruker Avance-III-HD-500. It is a two-channel spectrometer with an Ascend magnet. This instrument is equipped with a Prodigy BBO cryoprobe (with F19 capabilities) and serves on a walk-up (9 AM to 1 PM) mode for routine NMR spectroscopy. The instrument is the cornerstone for C13, P31 and other X-nuclei NMR experiments where extra sensitivity is required and cannot be obtained in any other instruments of the NMR Facility. Several projects could not start otherwise highlight the importance of this instrument: they are currently in progress with impressive results. Only NMR superusers access this instrument. Variable temperature experiments (0 ºC to 80 ºC) are available.
