Q: Do I have to participate in the final round if invited?

A: No, but you must inform the competition administration by the deadline date to let us know that you are not.

Q: Do all of my team members have to show up for the final competition?

A: No, if team members do not want to come to the final round, then they do not have to.

Q: Can we participate in the final round without having to come to Penn State University?

A: No, to participate in the final round of the competition, you must come to Penn State University. Directions to Penn State University can be found here.

Q: How will a winning team be declared?

A: The winning team will be declared when a team completes their tasks and submits their answers first. If the time limit for the final round is reached, whichever team that has the highest score is declared the winner

Q: How many winners can there be for the final round?

A: There will be a first, second, third, and fourth place winner.

Q: Do I need to bring my own laptop for the final round?

A: Yes, finalist round teams must bring their own laptops.
