In every society and culture, there are many things in common and many differences but there is one thing that links us all. This is what we all know as ‘sports’. Sports are a way of life in many nationalities and cultures. Sports are a way to get away from the everyday works and hassles of life. There are numerous varieties in sport but there is one sport that is known in every corner of the world…and this sport is ‘soccer’. Soccer is a sport that is played in every continent in the world, it is the one and only sport without borders. This is so, because soccer is a sport which all can participate and enjoy in, all can be as one. Soccer is also a sport that doesn’t really need many components. One may get a couple of people together and a round ball and start kicking it around and that may be considered soccer. Cost efficiency is one of the major reasons soccer has grown and still is growing throughout the world. Soccer is the most exciting sport because its action is non-stop, because its skills are impressive and because it demands such high loyalty. I think people would be able to live without soccer!!!!!!!

Technology has made us very close to each other. We can talk to anyone in the world at any time through computers for very small amount of money. It used to take days and a lot of money if you wanted to talk to someone on the phone who live 10,000 miles away or even more. It has sure made things easier for businesses and gave people more freedom!!! However, some people might say that technology has also disadvantages. Air has been polluted by cars, factories, and airplanes. The clean water is going to be gone; soil is eroding so that we are unable to grow anything to eat. All of those things have happened in last few decades since the development of certain technologies. So is technology so bad???!!!!
Biomimicry is a study of combining nature into human designed products. Biomimicry can make differences in the world. Technologies may have been hurting the environment and humans for sometime but we can use it in the right way and make things straight. It’s just going to take a little bit of time for people to figure it out. Even if the environment gets almost destroyed by any causes and seems like there is nothing we can do about it, I’m pretty sure somebody is smart enough to figure it out. And I believe that biomimicry could be the key term for that. So, let’s also try to learn from mother nature because I think there is alot of things we don’t know yet!!!!!!!

The very important role of science in modern life is not overtated in view of today’s world. Science and technology have profoundly influenced the course of human civilization. Science has provided us remarkable insights into the world we live in and enjoy now the Apple, Samsung, Nokia products!!!!! The scientific revolutions of the 20th century have led to many technologies, which promise new innovations in many fields. As we stand today at the beginning of a new century, we have to ensure fullest use of these developments for the well being of our people. Science and technology, for example, have been an integral part of Indian civilisation and culture over the past several millennia. Few are aware that India was the fountainhead of important foundational scientific developments and approaches. These cover many great scientific discoveries and technological achievements in Mathematics, Astronomy, Architecture, Chemistry, Metallurgy, Medicine, Natural Philosophy and so on))). A great deal of this traveled outwards from India. And the India also assimilated scientific ideas and techniques from elsewhere, with open-mindedness and a rational attitude, characteristic of a scientific ethos. India’s traditions have been founded on the principles of universal harmony. During the century prior to independence, there was an awakening of modem science in India through the efforts of a number of outstanding scientists. These people were responsible for great scientific advances of the highest international caliber. Apart from the vast changes it has brought about, the development of a scientific temper in the people is considered important. In the planned economy of a country, science must necessarily play an especially important role. Improvements in techniques evolved as a result of scientific research brings about great increases in production in the different sectors of the economy. National resources are broaden by the substitution of cheap and abundant materials for those in scarce supplies and by finding uses for materials, which have remained un-utilized, prior to independence, very little attention was given to the problem of scientific and industrial research in India as well as in most countries. A number of universities and institutes carried out research, mostly on fundamental aspects of science. Certain industries also had their own research organizations. As we can see now an India is growing reallly fast by making more technological researches to grow up even more faster!!! So we also need to keep up, especially young generation, by getting more and more involved in new technologies !!

Economic growth is what everyone in this world tries to achieve for the good of everyone as a whole. Developing, producing more, increased wages, higher level of education, better and better technologies is what we strive for. But doing all that, does that mean that we are living a better life?)) Or is it just the ideal of doing better, not really the result that keeps us following the dream of a perfect world. The effects of economic growth are full of positives points such as boost in infrastructures, urban development, higher education, globalisation, creates employment, higher wages for workers, better living standards for the population, and the list can go on and on. But aren’t there any externalities to all of this? There are some of the negative externalities of growing above what the economy can take, reaching the limits where growing is counter-productive such as health problems arising, environmental issues, education issues as well!!!!!
Damages to our environment is not the only problem caused by economic growth, one of the other concerns of every society is whether or not we have reached the limits of human needs as well. What more could we possibly need? Do we have to keep improving on technology; is it for our basic needs or just for pure luxury? People earn more today but doesn’t that mean that we should be better off than 40-50 years ago? Spending on education has become insanely high but are our children learning more today? Husbands and wives both are working full time jobs now to run their families, but 40-50 years ago when usually only the husband was working, weren’t families having a good life? Is growth helping or hurting society as a whole, and thus answering the question is economic growth becoming counter-productive? So, as we can see there might be limits on economic growth, I think!

The Internet and the World Wide Web are major forces in the American economy and in American society today, and it is believed that the worl is only beginning to make use of the Internet. The future of the Internet will include a number of changes as this medium becomes more pervasive and perhaps more useful with the development of wireless services allowing Internet access through a variety of devices aside from the home computer. Broadband is seen as the road to a new world of communications which will link people through a variety of services including computing, telephony, and television services, all using the same connections.
Before all this can happen, however, there must be a number of innovations in different technologies and the ability to reach more homes. The Internet is only entering its second quarter-century, but it is already having a major impact on the way companies do business. This influence will only increase and will alter the way many companies operate. In just a few short years, the Web has become an indispensable part of daily life for tens of millions of people around the world. It has reshaped the logic of countless industries, from personal computing to travel. And I believe that within the next few years, the Web is gonna make even more greater impacts on our life!!!!!!!!!!!

Since the end of cold war, many countries across the globe have chosen democracy as the form of government but still use dictatorship))). They have chosen democracy on paper because the West rules now))!!!Today, most of the world’s powerful countries, international organizations and political science experts see democracy as a natual choice in comparison to dictatorship. Yet democracy remains a far more complicated form of government as compared to dictatorship. And what I like about dictatorship)) is that democratic system of governments generally have an extensive system of election of government. Dictatorships do not need to spend efort in developing and mainitaining such proceses and are hence free from this hassle. Democratic systems by nature prefer to have a system of check and balance so that all power is not rested in one indivdual. This can sometimes lead to situations where doing any legislation becomes very complex or nearlly impossible. In a parilamentary form of government a hung parlaiment or in a presidential form of government a President and Parliament from different political parties are examples of such complicated scenarios. A dictator can however carry out this action throught a decree. In addition, democracy can bring even more complications to the developing nations, where resources are scarce and political infrastruture might not be developed enough to help people make the right democratic choice. In order to increase their chances of victory politicians sometimes play up the racial sentiments of a community. Such actions can produce big problems in the long term and can lead to cracks in the social fabrics that can be very complicated to hear for the government.

I think that everything in this world is bounded up, global economy and global environment are bound up with one another. Environmental change is a consequence of economic development. Environmental change and its consequent health impacts are driven by economic grotwh, population growth and urbanization. It has been shown that it is possible to manage economic growth in ways that preserve environmental quality and enhance human health. Achieving the benefits of economic development while minimizing its harmful impacts will require an increased awareness of links between environment and health to improve public health. Achieving these benefits will depend on a greater emphasis on prevention such as managing the environment so that health risks do not occur. This is important because health risks are associated with environmental degradation. We know taht environmental health problems vary form region to region, reflecting geography, climate, and a country’s level of economic development and policy choices. Many environmental health problems are associated with poverty and a lack of essential resources. Economic growth is not sufficient to improve health for all, especially if rising income disparities mean that millions of people will not participate in those advances. As this income gap increases, the health gap is also likely to grow. So we can see that by increasing Economy people might not still be happy!!!

Social networking is a phenomenon that has token the world by storm mostly over the last decade. People are now able to communicate over the internet, which evolved into social networking sites such as Friendster, MySpace and Facebook and Twitter. This evolution has yielded ever-expanding ways of communicating with people over the internet. No longer is it possible to only send text messages. Now, people can send text, pictures, videos and more and have access to all of these files via their social networking accounts. Social networking has become particularly valuable to small businesses, who can utilize the power of these networking sites to promote, improve and sustain their businesses. Such social networking sites help small businesses grow, reach new heights and simultaneously increase annual profits.
Social networking is a term used to describe the online community and individual services, platforms and hosts that provide the networking of individuals. And most interestingly we depend on social media. Facebook has more taht 500 million active users, people spend over 700 billion minutes per month on it, and the average user has 130 friends (“Statistics”). Have Facebook and other social networking sites gotten out of hand? While some people may believe social networking has positive effects on humans, it in fact has negatively altered the way we communicate, our identities, and even our health. As we can see social media did really change the style of our living in this century compared to twentieth century!!!

As I understand Nanotechnology is the study of understanding and using atomic and molecular scale matters! In my opinion in next decade or in next few years Nanotechnology will become really important in science and engineering fields! And do you believe in technology? Or do you think that all inventions of scientists are worthwhile for humanity? Of course, lots of these inventions are helpful and useful. Also, some of them have created new periods in past. They played a big role for coming modernity. However, there are some inventions that seem very effective but they have brought new problems for humanity and environment. Especially, at the beginning of an invention, people don’t realize that it will become big problem. Nowadays, people are taking notice of this kind of things. Nanotechnology is one of these inventions which are needed to be discussed from point to point. Today, there are some people who believe that nanotechnology is dangerous; however some scientists think that nanotechnology has great benefits because it helps people to invent new things for the future.
Nanotechnology is a huge area which gives opportunity for other technologies to create better products. With the benefits of nanotechnology, it will be easy to develop new things. First of all, I want to explain a little bit what nanotechnology is. deals with very little structures which is 100 times smaller. At this scale, properties of products can be changed, giving one the ability to create new things such as create more precise, cleaner, better, stronger and more durable products. For example, today, there are some kind of battery which is produced with nanotechnlogy, much more durable than before. In addition, in the future, it will be easy to invent new products and machines because nanotechnology will play vital role on manufacturing.
