Interaction with Alumni and Donors:
As the Student Alumni Corps, the Penn State Harrisburg Lion Ambassadors have a major role with campus alumni and donors.  Lion Ambassadors serve a crucial role in connecting alumni and donors to the campus.  Their knowledge of the campus and the ability to share it helps reconnect alumni and connect donors to the campus.  Lion Ambassadors bring their knowledge to work with the Alumni Society Board of Directors in helping them interact with the students.  In addition, the Lion Ambassadors serve the campus Chancellor by assisting with the major donor and alumni activities, Commencement, and community events.

Development of Our Member’s Potential:
Development of each member is an essential part of the Lion Ambassadors goal as an organization.  As a Lion Ambassador, each member has the opportunity to either assist or lead various projects.  Members have the opportunity to take on new responsibilities, and they can act as leaders and representative of both the Organization and Penn State University.  While meeting a variety of Alumni, the Penn State Harrisburg Lion Ambassadors are presented with the unique opportunity to develop and hone their communication and leadership skills.  The responsibilities, training opportunities, and events that Lion Ambassadors features help each member develop leadership, communication, teambuilding, and organizational skills.  As the organization strives for excellence, every Lion Ambassador must show energy, enthusiasm and commitment to achieve the numerous goals of the Organization.

Enthusiasm for Our Club, College, and University:

While Lion Ambassadors work hard, they also enjoy their experiences. Every experience from organizing involvement with other campus clubs initiatives or leading a campus tour, working with VIP Alumni Volunteers one thing is certain: the Lion Ambassadors spread Penn State Pride.

Lion Ambassadors help spread Penn State Pride by working with other club initiatives including participating in the Student Government Association’s Semester Involvement Fair, holding a seat on the Inter-Club Council, leading Campus Historical Ghost Tours, and participating in the many THON activities that take place every year.  Numerous other events that serve as a source of pride and enthusiasm to the Lion Ambassadors include helping the college host international visitors, welcoming new students to the campus, and supporting Alumni events.
