We had a great EiM on Campus Week 2016!
We kicked off our week with our 4th annual Dean’s Walk, led by our Lion and Rio 2016 Olympic Bronze Medalist and Kines student Monica Aksamit. We had more than 150 walkers, 3 dogs and a baby join us!
During the week we were able to engage more than 1200 students in exercise, accumulate 18,500 pushups and run 3619 laps in our first ever challenge with Michigan State University’s EiMOC program!
Our 5th annual EiM on Campus speaker was Dr. NiCole Keith from Indiana University. Her talk was titled “Using Exercise is Medicine and Implementation Science to Integrate Fitness into Healthcare through Technology.” Many thanks to Dr. Keith for a great presentation on the science behind EiM.
