This week we don’t have too much going on, but there are a few things we wanted to let you in on.

1. State Day of Service
State Day of Service is an entire day of community service (similar to FreshStart Day of Service) that aims to counteract the activities that occur during State Patty’s Day weekend. This is a great opportunity to show members of the local community that have lived and will continue to live here long after we graduate, that there are students that can be constructive, rather than destructive during State Patty’s weekend. If you’re interested in volunteering on this day, please go to volunteer.psu.edu to sign up! The day of service runs from 9 am-1 pm, and breakfast will be provided. Also, if you’re interested in being a service leader for a service site, please let us know so we can contact the event coordinators.
2. Next Meeting
Our next meeting won’t be this week, but next Tuesday (Feb 23) in 209 Thomas Building at 6 pm. We would like to invite everyone to bring a friend to our meeting so they can see how great Rotaract is. We hope to see you there!
3. Social Media Sites
If you haven’t already, please like our Facebook page and follow us on Twitter! We occasionally post updates on both sites about meetings and other events, so it’s a great way to stay connected with us.
4. Thank you Sabrina!
Lastly, we wanted to thank our member, Sabrina, again for hosting us on Friday night. We had a lot of fun eating the pasta she made and playing Heads Up. The food was delicious!
